Lighting Assignment 3

 This week I used a work in progress personal project to test out Unreal's PBR material settings. The model and the textures need a lot of work, but I feel I learned a lot about the texture graph editor this week.

Lighting week 2

 This week I decided to relight and set dress my Korean war era tank. I hoped to Get some product style shots as well as an action shot of the asset in scene. What I discovered this week is how difficult it is to light colored and textured models. The different colors makes it somewhat difficult to understand how your lights are affecting the model. 



I used a combination of asset packs and standard Unreal VFX to give my scene more character.

Creature Box Character Modeling and ZBrush Practice

 This week we where given choices of different Creature Box concepts that we could convert into a 3D model. I used Zbrush's spotlight system, a system originally intended for texture painting, to import the desired reference into the software.

Lighting Workshop Practice

For my lighting assignment I decided to use a model of a Rhinoceros first sculpted by Henri - Alfred Jacquemart in 1878. 


With this lighting setup I attempted to capture the imposing presence that this massive animal projects. I focused the brightest light on the Rhinoceroses distinctive horn. 





This Shot I hoped to capture the feeling of the Rhinoceros surveying the burning home it once knew below.
